Cannabinoid Therapy for Top 3 Pickleball Injuries

The sport of pickleball has experienced astronomic growth over the last decade. Today, it is considered to be America’s fastest growing sport as more and more people are eagerly taking up the sport across the United States. As a racquet sport, pickleball too carries more than a few risks of injuries for picklers. Due to the nature of the game, there are a few common injuries that can impact active players. From plantar fasciitis to pickleball elbow and Achilles tendonitis to knee and back strain, there is a range of injuries that can halter your momentum or worse yet, put a complete end to your career.

During our time as the Official Cannabinoid Supplier for The Professional Pickleball Association, we had the chance to work closely with pros and amateur players that routinely suffer from these problems. This has allowed us to develop highly effective cannabinoid based products that can help picklers recover and play, the all-natural way.

Watch this video to learn more about how you can overcome your pickleball injuries with the help of our cannabinoid products:

Prevention is Better Than Cure

While we are extremely proud to have developed the range of products for Pickleball, we also believe that there are a number of steps you can take to minimize your risk of injury in the first place. Here are a few things to consider:

Wear Appropriate Shoes for Pickleball

We cannot emphasize the importance of wearing the proper attire, including the right shoes, when it comes to minimizing the risk of injury. In terms of what shoes work best for pickleball, look no further than shoes developed for tennis players. While a number of new pickleball focused shoe brands have popped up, good old tennis shoes will also work just fine for you. The important thing is to go for something that has adequate ankle support and give you a comfortable grip on the courts. Rubber soles and tread patterns work best for quick lateral movements. Make sure you switch out your shoes when they have run their course, which is approximately about 60 hours of play.

Conditioning is Just As Important

You don’t play to get fit. You get fit to play. This is why it is of utmost importance that you proactively work on improving your strength and endurance so that you become less prone to injury while also improving your overall performance on the courts. Full body work outs that focus on mobility, balance, strength, flexibility and endurance are excellent to get you in the right physical condition to enjoy the sport to the maximum while minimizing risk of injury.

Don’t Forget to Warm Up

One of the best things you can do to avoid all these harmful injuries is to ensure you get a good warm up every time you’re about to hit the courts. This applies to all sports and not just pickleball of course, but due to the nature of the game, this can be often overlooked. Warm ups allow you to loosen up your muscles and this can be achieved with a few stretches or a simple jog to get your heart rate up and your muscles ready for action.

Recovery Time is Essential

There is no denying the fact that pickleball can be a very addictive sport. Playing intense games multiple times a week and spending hours on the court can take a heavy toll on your body. This is why adequate recovery time is highly recommended. You are the best judge of your body and if you’re feeling fatigued and sore, its better to miss out on a few days of pickleball and give your body the rest it needs so that you do not develop any serious injuries.

Which Cannabinoid Products Work Best for Pickleball?

Even if you follow the best practices laid out above, you are still prone to injury. In this case, which cannabinoid products should you look for? We’re now in our second year of sponsorship for The Professional Pickleball Association and have a very good idea of which products work best for pickleball injuries.

In fact, to make things even more convenient, we’ve bundled together the most popular products and are currently offering them at a discounted rate. The Triple Threat Sports Bundle, which includes our CBDA Roll-on, The Platinum Pro Sports Salve and our Topical Spray is perfect to provide your body with the all-natural support it needs to recover from all kinds of aches and pains as a result of too much smashing and dinking on the courts!

We hope you found this information useful and will consider making the switch to our cannabinoid based products instead of using harmful painkillers that are likely to create even more complications in the long run.
